Winter Storm Juno is here and at least 28 million people are in the potential blizzard conditions zone. The Weather Channel advises you should not travel late Monday or Tuesday and be prepared for power outages during and after the storm. Not only do you need to be cautious of 1-2 feet of snowfall, keep in mind the depth of snowdrifts is even higher.
From Far Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, to New England, will experience the heaviest snowfall amounts. During the peak of the storm, 2 to 4 inches per hour of snowfall is a possibility.
The winter storm naming committee named this storm “Juno” on Sunday morning. Juno, in Roman mythology, is a goddess who looked after the women of Rome.
